This mixed media image will be recreated on a larger scale (from 8" to 55" wide).
I chose this layout because of it's overall composition and variation of color and texture. Materials include acrylic paint, graphite, oil pastel, collaged-handmade paper, paper towel, and inkjet print of 1904 train schedule.
This piece speaks to the experience and landscape of train travel. Featuring a train schedule from the Chicago & North Western railroad. The image is comprised of a simplified impression of sky, train and land.
